My Process

What's the path to delivering a delightful experience? We follow the data. Following a data-driven process ensures we design solutions that delight users and improve user experiences.​

Research

​

There are many tools and resources available for this first step. Global UX research data, user tests, user recordings, heat maps, and customer feedback all provide qualitative and quantitative insights into user expectations when navigating your website or application.

For unreleased products and services, product screening and search trend data can provide an understanding of value to the market and an awareness of your target audience.​

Design

​

Once we have sufficient data to support design decisions, we begin building. For more complex solutions, this will likely begin with information architecture, ensuring we understand the framework and context of the parts as a whole.

As we move into the layout and user interface, we ensure the deliverables are usable, align with brand standards, and are accessible to all users.​

Test

​

When we don't have enough proof or evidence from our research phase to support a particular user flow or UI decision, we use A/B testing strategies to engage real users by splitting the traffic into 2 or more experiences, tracking and analyzing various metrics to ascertain whether the proposed solution will be helpful or hurtful.

Repeat

​

Because user expectations and business objectives change over time, it's important to repeat this process regularly to ensure that customers remain engaged and loyal.

Recognizing the need is the primary condition for design.
