My Approach

My approach to design is guided by two core principles: empathy and problem solving. 

 

To empathize is to listen and understand the needs and desires of your users. Problem solving is finding a solution to those needs and desires.

 

When a product doesn't function as expected, users  become frustrated. If a message isn't clear, audiences walk away and forget you. But when an experience is intuitive, users feel at ease. When communications are clear, consumers engage.

 

Empathizing with users ensures we're approaching users and improving the experience from their point of view. Where were they disappointed, frustrated, or confused? What excited them or made them feel safe to continue? ​​

People will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.

But it isn't enough to understand them. We need to find solutions to their problems and replicate their positive interactions, ensuring their entire experience is delightful.

 

This approach is good for the user and good for your business. After all, great experiences are the crux of any memorable brand.
